Brooke Meadows, MAcOM, LAc
Founder & Owner of Vetiver Acupuncture
I grew up in Northern Idaho and Montana and was raised by a mom who believed in the values of natural medicine. Having a love for design, I chose fashion for a career. Along the way, I became acutely aware of what my true calling was, but I pushed it back. I followed my glamorous dream to move to NYC and work in the fashion industry. I lived The Devil Wears Prada glamorous nightmare, which eventually gave me the final push to follow my 'true' dream… to become an acupuncturist. I made the move to Portland, Oregon in 2010 where I attended Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and never looked back. I've been practicing acupuncture since 2013 and I have a daughter who arrived on my birthday in 2018.
I've incorporated my love for design into my practice space so that you will feel comfortable, relaxed, and hopefully enjoy the aesthetics of the space. Life is stressful and everyone can use a little oasis. I incorporate balance and relaxation into my treatments, integrating my knowledge of essential oils, cranial sacral, and Breathwork to further balance your body.
I specialize in women's health, fertility, NAET (allergy elimination), anxiety, cosmetic acupuncture, dermatology, and general wellness. I am a certified Chinese Medicine dermatologist and studied with Mazin Al-Khafaji.
I make it my intention to connect with my patients. To allow you to be heard and to find the root of what's going on with you. My technique is gentle, calming, and nourishing... Allowing you to feel your best.
I am amazed daily at what acupuncture is able to heal and its ability to change people's lives. It's ability to naturally balance the body, bring a sparkle to the eyes, the stress to dissipate, the pain to diminish. The list goes on.
It is my pleasure to help your body and mind feel at its best.
Warmest wishes on your path to healing,
Brooke

Jen is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who is focused on maintaining a compassionate healing space to provide the tools you need for wellness and self-care. Jen is originally from the Midwest and lived in a variety of places before falling in love with Oregon.
Her interest in Chinese Medicine came from her study of Buddhism, Taoism, and the human body. While living in Lake Tahoe, she interned with two wonderful doctors of Chinese Medicine who focused on an array of different ailments, including athletic performance. After working in their clinics for two years, and seeing the improvements patients experienced, she moved up to Portland, Oregon to pursue her own Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
Post acupuncture school, Jen worked in a remote clinic in Nepal for several months treating a wide array of ailments with the Acupuncture Relief project (2017), she has taken workshops on acupuncture + emotional health, and attended fertility conferences. Andrea Chladek, MAcOm, LAc
Andrea’s journey as a healthcare practitioner initially began in traditional Western medicine. She served for several years in various capacities within the nursing field, including in the Navy Nurse Corps for four years. She received an RN Bachelor’s degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, and a Master’s degree as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwifery from San Diego State University.
Eventually the winds of change were calling to her to explore a new and different way to practice healing. One that involved more spirit. One that included not only the physical, but also the subtle energy systems of the human body. After much soul-searching, her path led her to seek out opportunities within various Eastern modalities. In doing so, Andrea made a choice to pursue a career in Chinese medicine. She obtained a Master of Acupuncture, with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization, from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland. Andrea’s professional focus is now entirely Chinese Medicine. Her areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Women’s health, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, pain management, psycho-emotional, stress reduction and over-all general healthcare. In her personal time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, engaging in her daily meditation and Qigong practices, dancing, and baking…her second calling : ) |
